Combination of Edible Coating Green Grass Jelly and Cinnamon Essential Oil Increase the Shelf Life of Water Rose Apple Fruit

Abstract The research aimed to determine the best concentration from combination of edible coating green grass jelly powder and cinnamon essential oil extend shelf life water rose apple var. Merah Delima. experiment was conducted in Postharvest Laboratory, University Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta December 2019 January 2020. This with a single factor trial design arranged Completely Randomized Design (CDR) 3 replications. consisted treatment without coating, 0,2 % leaves + 0,4% cinnamon, 0,6% 0,4 cinnamon. results showed that most effective inhibit microbial growth fruit.
